Anecdotal evidence also claims that spending time in a multisensory environment improves eye contact amongst many disabled children. Younger children are able to concentrate and focus for longer periods and often vocalize far more than in other environments. Other benefits of sensory environments are the dramatic drop in stress levels reported by visitors.
