The creation of a 5* Wriggly Worm Hotel

We have had an exciting time at The Toy House lately as we have welcomed back old and new friends to both our Wednesday morning Grandparents session and our Thursday morning Stay & Play session.

All the sessions are themed and this term, we are concentrating on the animal kingdom.

During one of our sessions, we focused on worms. Throughout the morning, the children participated in various activities, including learning how to make a wormery. This was much to the dismay of Margaret and some of the parents/ carers! Well, the children did such a good job that the worms ended up living in a 5 * hotel with plenty of food and drink! In the words of Ant & Dec, we would like to point out that no worms were harmed during this activity.
